It's all about water

Water is essential for life. Water exists in three states: solid, liquid and gas:
(El agua es esencial para la vida. El agua existe en tres estados: sólido, líquido y gaseoso).

- When water flows, it is a liquid.
(Cuando el agua fluye, es un líquido). 

- When water gets very hot, it turns into vapour. Vapour is a gas.
(Cuando el agua se calienta mucho, se convierte en vapor. El vapor es un gas).

- When water gets very cold, it freezes and turns into ice or snow. Ice and snow are solid.
(Cuando el agua se enfría mucho, se congela y se convierte en hielo o nieve. El hielo y la nieve son sólidos).

Juego / Experimento: calienta o enfría este agua y observa qué ocurre.

The water cycle (el ciclo del agua)

The water cycle never stops. It has four parts: evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection.
(El ciclo del agua nunca termina. Tiene cuatro partes: evaporación, condensación, precipitación y recolección).

- Evaporation: The sun heats the sea water and turns it into vapour.

(Evaporación: el sol calienta el agua del mar y se convierte en vapor)

- Condensation: The water vapour makes clouds.

(Condensación: el vapor de agua forma nubes).

- Precipitation: When the clouds get cold, it rains or snows.

(Precipitación: cuando las nubes se enfrían, llueve o nieva).

- Collection: Rivers return the water to the sea.

(Recolección: los ríos devuelven el agua al mar).
